Your First Visit to Our Sugar Land Practice

Whatever your goal, to maintain wellness or to find relief from a particular condition, we hope your experience at Family Chiropractic Care is pleasant.

Plan on about 30 to 45 minutes for your first visit to our office as we value listening and understanding your story.

This visit begins with a warm welcome to our office. After photocopying your insurance card and helping you complete a brief form telling us about yourself, you and Dr. Kaemmerling will meet for your initial no-charge consultation with no obligation.

If after hearing your story, Dr. Kaemmerling and you agree that you are a candidate for care, we will perform a thorough examination that involves chiropractic, orthopedic and neurologic tests. The goal here is not only to evaluate how well your spine, joints, muscles and nerves are functioning, but also to establish the underlying cause of your pain or condition.

Your story tells us your history and what you’re feeling. Your exam reveals vertebra, joints, muscles and nerves that are not functioning normally. X-rays reveal your spine's stage of degeneration and how your vertebral frame is contributing to your condition. Together, these give Dr. Kaemmerling a more complete understanding of your condition, how to correct its cause and improve your quality of life.

After the examination is completed, we review your charges for your examination and schedule your next appointment for a personal report of findings with Dr. Kaemmerling.
